Blue Soda Gum (Japan) I purchased this small sweet in Japan with a large variety of other candy and snacks. Once home, I squeezed the package a few times and thought it had that familiar gummy feel. I delayed sampling the sweet since, as pictured on the wrapper, I assumed it was a single large gummy snack, colored blue, in the shape of a cola bottle. Inside the package was a thick four inch, blue-gray colored log of gum. I tried a small bite and tasted the ambiguous sweetness that represented the blue soda. While rather soft, the gum wasn't good for blowing bubbles. Who can possibly chew such a large piece of gum? |
